Accredited institutions that support liquidity, continuity, and price formation efficiency.
about the programs
Market Maker programs authorize financial institutions to maintain simultaneous buy and sell orders for various assets — including stocks, ETFs, and Real Estate Investment Funds (FIIs) — within predefined parameters.
The role of market makers is vital to market development, as they promote greater liquidity, smoother trading continuity, and tighter spreads. As a result, assets with market makers tend to trade more quickly, are less susceptible to abrupt price swings, and benefit from a more efficient and transparent price discovery process.
Base Exchange's Market Maker programs are governed by CVM Resolution No. 133 of June 16, 2022. The specific features of each program, as well as the parameters applicable to eligible assets, will be available soon.
